Community guidelines
Last updated 13 October 2026
Convo is small on purpose: one person, one conversation, no audience. These guidelines keep it worth showing up for.
Be a decent human
- Talk to people the way you would face to face. Disagreement is welcome; contempt is not.
- A no is a no. If someone ends the conversation or does not want to be friends, let it be.
- No harassment, threats, hate, or targeting someone for who they are.
Protect younger members
- Teens talk with teens, and with adults we have verified as mentors or teachers. Do not try to get around that.
- Any sexual content involving or directed at a minor ends the account immediately and may be reported to authorities.
- Do not ask a younger member to keep secrets, move to another app, or meet in person.
Keep it real and keep it here
- No contact details, links or social handles in your profile. Share them inside a conversation if you choose to.
- No selling, recruiting, scams, or asking for money.
- One account, your real date of birth. A made-up display name is fine.
What happens when something goes wrong
- Report or block anyone from inside the conversation. Reports are reviewed by a person.
- Automated checks may warn you, hold a message, or pause your account. Repeated problems escalate; some things end an account on the spot.
- If we got it wrong, appeal from the Safety page.
